Location or nearby stories
Tap My location when you want stories near you. If access is blocked, allow Location in your browser's site settings or in your phone's settings for the app. Search still works without location permission. A searched place is not your live position.
Start Drive only when it is safe to do so. It asks before each new story. Stop Drive ends location tracking for that session. Digital Tourists Guide is not a navigation or road-safety service. Do not use the screen while driving.
Audio playback
Check your connection and media volume. A new story may take time to prepare; the player shows its progress. A shared story opens without sound, so tap Play to start. If playback fails, use Try again.
Stories are AI-generated from linked sources and may contain errors. Some places have only surrounding context, and some have no usable story yet. Check current opening hours, access and ticket prices with the venue.
Free beta and saved data
The public beta currently has no daily listening limit. No card is required. Pro purchasing and offline route downloads are not part of the web beta offer. Do not rely on an unsaved story without a connection.
Your listening history and language preference stay on this device. Signing in does not sync them. Use the history button to see or clear listened places. Clearing browser site data, or removing the app, can also remove locally saved content.
Feedback
Use Report a story issue below the player. It opens an email with the place, language and story link. Tell us what sounds wrong and include a reliable source if you have one. For a playback problem, include your device and browser.

Email [email protected] for support, privacy requests or accessibility feedback. To request deletion of an account created in an earlier version, email from the address used for that account. We may need to confirm ownership.
