The story of શ્રી ક્રિષ્ના ટેમ્પલ
શ્રી ક્રિષ્ના ટેમ્પલમાં તમે એવા પૂજાસ્થળ સામે ઊભા છો જે કૃષ્ણની ઉપાસનાથી જોડાયેલું છે; કૃષ્ણ હિંદુ ધર્મમાં મુખ્ય દેવતા છે અને વિષ્ણુના આઠમા અવતાર તરીકે પણ પૂજાય છે. આ મંદિર વિશે સીધી નોંધ નથી, તેથી તેને તેના પરંપરાગત સંદર્ભમાં જ સમજવું યોગ્ય છે: અહીંનું કેન્દ્ર કૃષ્ણ, જેને ગોવિંદ, માધવ, ગોપાલ જેવા નામોથી પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે, અને જે પ્રેમ, કરુણા, રક્ષા અને કોમળતાના ગુણો માટે venerable છે.
આ મંદિર મહાદેવપુરા, બેંગલુરુમાં છે. મહાદેવપુરા બેંગલુરુ અર્બન જિલ્લાના એક ઉપનગર અને BBMPના ઝોનમાં આવે છે; નજીક આવવું હોય તો Outer Ring Road, Whitefield Road અને Krishnarajapura Railway Station ઉપયોગી પડે છે.
અહીં આવનાર માટે સૌથી કામની વાત ખુલ્લા સમયની છે: સોમવારથી ગુરુવાર, શનિવાર અને રવિવારે 7:00–10:00 AM અને 6:06–8:00 PM; શુક્રવારે સાંજનો સમય 6:00–8:00 PM છે. એટલે વહેલી સવારે અથવા સાંજે દર્શન માટે આવવું વધુ યોગ્ય રહેશે. તળાવ કે ગુંબજની જેવી વિશેષ સ્થાપત્ય વિગતો અહીં નોંધાયેલી નથી, તેથી તમે મુખ્યત્વે પૂજાની નિયમિતતા અને મંદિરની દૈનિક ઉપાસનાને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને મુલાકાત લો.
