Mahadevapura is a suburb and one of the BBMP zones in Bengaluru, and the thing to notice first is that it is a developing residential neighborhood on the city’s east side.

It was once a city municipal council, and it sits in Bangalore Urban district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Stand here with that in mind, and Mahadevapura reads less like a destination with one defining façade and more like a growing urban zone made up of housing, services and neighborhood temples.
